We stayed at 4 different hotels in Japan and this one was our favourite. We were grateful to check in earlier (1pm) rather than 3pm. The hotel has a reception that is manned early in the morning to late in the evening. It is about 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station and the area outside the hotel is quiet. Across the bridge to the right of the hotel is a train station (about 5 minutes walk) and there is a 7 Eleven a few properties down. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room itself isn't as spacious as others we stayed in (38 sqm) but this newish hotel has nice decor and looks very modern and clean. We stayed 4 nights and we had 1 room clean. There is a Fresco supermarket about 10 mins away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

"The hotel has a good location near the subway and other options. Limousine bus has a direct drop off/pick up at the hotel. Everything appeared very clean, and the staff were good and attentive.
